Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant is one of the largest lakes in Arizona. Its pristine, clear waters encompass over 10,000 acres of water surface and 118 miles of shoreline fed by the Aqua Fria River and the Colorado River via the Central Arizona Project Canal. The lake is formed by New Waddel Dam, the largest agricultural dam project in the world, to collect and manage the use of surface water which is distributed through a canal system.
